Abilene Christian Baseball has been recognized with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Presented by Sports Attack, this award honors programs that demonstrate a strong commitment to academic success alongside athletic performance.
To be eligible for the award, programs must meet a strict set of criteria, including maintaining a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale and having the head coach hold active ABCA membership. The Wildcats met and exceeded the academic threshold, continuing a standard of excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
The ABCA Academic Excellence Award, established in 2016, celebrates teams across high school and collegiate levels that prioritize academic achievement. ACU joins 750 other programs nationwide in earning this distinction, further solidifying the program's reputation as a model for success on and off the diamond.
