Wildcats Make Their Way to Bellevue to Take on Seattle U

BELLEVUE – The Wildcats return to conference action this weekend with a pivotal three-game series on the road against Seattle U. The Wildcats enter the matchup sitting in fourth place in the WAC standings with an 8-7 conference record, while the Redhawks come in at 4-8, currently eighth in the league.

This marks the first meeting between the two teams since their dramatic series last May in Abilene when ACU took two of three games from Seattle U to clinch the No. 2 seed in the 2024 WAC Tournament. In the decisive game of that series, Garrett Williams delivered a clutch two-run hit in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Wildcats the lead and ultimately the series win.

The last time the Wildcats made their way to Bellevue, ACU was unable to secure the series but left Washington with a win in 2023.

ACU will look to build on that momentum as they head to the Pacific Northwest. With just a few weekends remaining in the regular season, they aim to stay in the hunt for a top spot in the WAC standings.

The first pitch for the series is scheduled for Friday at 6:00 P.M. CT at Bannerwood Park, with the following two games taking place on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. CT, and finishing on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. CT.
