Quarterback Stone Earle and kicker Brandon Perez from the conference champion ACU football team were both named to the UAC All-Academic team on Wednesday afternoon.
The team, which was voted upon by each school's sports information director, is an exclusive group of just 12 total players from the nine United Athletic Conference programs.
Earle has earned a 3.66 grade point average in his master's of sports leadership program through ACU Dallas. He transferred back to ACU in January 2025 and led the Wildcats to a second consecutive UAC title and appearance in the second round of the FCS playoffs. Earle started his collegiate career at ACU, playing in the 2020 and 2021 seasons, before spending 2022-24 with FBS programs.
Perez has earned a 4.00 grade point average in his information systems major. Perez transferred to ACU from Division II member East Central (Okla.). The junior from Crandall, Texas, finished with 15 made field goals, the second-most for a single-season in ACU history, including the 47-yard game-winner to beat rival Tarleton State on Nov. 1.
It is the second year in-a-row ACU has had multiple selections on the UAC All-Academic team. In 2024, receiver Nehemiah Martinez I, center Tay Yanta, and guard Alan Hatten were each honored.
