Abilene Christian plays a basketball doubleheader against Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches on Friday.
The women's game starts the schedule off at 5:30 p.m., and the men's matchup follows with an 8 p.m. tipoff.
Both ACU teams are off to 3-0 starts to their respective seasons. It's the first time the women have begun with three consecutive wins since the 2021-22 season, and the first time for the men since 2020-21.

ACU Men at Stephen F. Austin - Friday, 8 p.m.
The Wildcats continue their back-and-forth rivalry with the 50th all-time meeting against the Lumberjacks.
Seven of the last nine games, and each of the past five, against the two programs have been decided by five points or fewer. SFA defeated ACU 62-57 last season on New Year's Eve in Abilene.
So far this season, the Wildcats overpowered Division III McMurry and National Christian College Athletic Association member Southwestern Adventist, and squeaked by Omaha, which made the 2025 NCAA Tournament and is picked to finish second in The Summit League.
In Tuesday's 104-63 over Southwestern Adventist, freshman
Isaac Dye dropped in 20 points off the bench along with six makes from behind the 3-point arc. Three other Wildcats scored in double figures:
Bradyn Hubbard with 14, and
Cade Hornecker and
Ma'Shy Hill with 10 a piece.
Hubbard set a new top mark as a Wildcat with 26 points against Omaha. The senior forward has now had 81 career double-digit scoring games spanning his two years at Connors State College, and season-plus at ACU.
Head coach
Brette Tanner has set his team's goal at 15 forced turnovers per game, which the Wildcats have done in each of their three games to start the season. Last season ACU was 13-11 when forcing 15+ turnovers, and 13-4 when scoring 18+ points off turnovers.
