ACU's Hubbard Named Preseason All-WAC

ACU forward Bradyn Hubbard is one of five players listed on the 2025-26 Preseason All-WAC Team, as announced by the conference Tuesday morning.

Hubbard, a senior from Tulsa, Okla., is one of the Wildcats' two main starters returning from last season when he averaged 11 points and six rebounds per game.

Hubbard played in 31 of ACU's 32 games during the 2024-25 season, including 23 starts. He shot 49.6% from the field and was second of the team in steals. Hubbard led the team with 25 points and eight rebounds in the 82-77 exhibition victory at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last Saturday.

The last time ACU had a player named to an All-WAC preseason team was Airion Simmons before the 2022-23 season.

Also released on Tuesday, the Wildcats were picked third out of seven teams in the WAC Preseason Coaches Poll behind league-favorite California Baptist, and Utah Valley in second place.

Due to only having seven schools in the conference, each team will play one other three times for a total of 18 WAC contests.

ACU starts its league schedule with back-to-back home games: Jan. 1 vs. Utah Tech, and Jan. 3 vs. Utah Valley.

The Wildcats tipoff their season on Monday, Nov. 3, vs. McMurry for Moody Madness, presented by Alon DK. The game starts at 8 p.m. and -- like all ACU home basketball games -- will be streamed on ESPN+.
