The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) released its schedule for 2025-26 men's basketball conference games on Wednesday.
Each of the league's seven teams will play each other three times for a total of 18 conference games -- nine at home, and nine on the road.
The highlights for Abilene Christian include not leaving Texas for the first five games, and only once for the first half of WAC action (nine games). The Wildcats will host UT Arlington, Southern Utah and Utah Tech twice with only one trip to those three respective schools. ACUÂ will visit Tarleton State, Utah Valley and California Baptist twice, and host each of the three once.
ACU begins WAC play on New Year's Day with a home matchup against Utah Tech at Moody Coliseum. Two days later, the Wildcats welcome defending WAC champion Utah Valley to Abilene on Saturday, Jan. 3.
ACU will make the 90-minute drive to play rival Tarleton State two times in a 16-day span -- Thursday, Jan. 8, and Saturday, Jan. 24 -- before hosting the Texans on Saturday, Feb. 14. That home contest is the middle game of a three-game homestand for the Wildcats from Feb. 12-21. A three-game road stretch follows with matchups at Utah Tech, Utah Valley, and California Baptist.
The regular season finale versus UT Arlington is Saturday, March 7, at Moody Coliseum.Â
The final WAC Basketball Tournament will take place in Las Vegas the following week. In the summer of 2026, the conference will rebrand to the United Athletic Conference, see the Utah and California schools depart, and add five new members -- Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Central Arkansas, West Georgia, and North Alabama.
ACU's nonconference portion of its schedule is still being finalized and will be released at a later date.
Fans can purchase men's basketball season tickets beginning September 1, with single-game tickets on sale starting August 4.
