The Wildcats posted 14 hits, led by Gino D'Alessio and Maddox Miesse with three singles, Zandt Payne with two doubles and a single and Miller Ladusau with two doubles. Benjamin Greer and Holden Rook each added a double and Ranse Radtke had a single.

ACU took the lead in the first inning on a two-run double by Payne and went ahead 3-0 in the third with an RBI single by Miesse.

SFA took a 4-3 lead in the fourth, but ACU scored five runs in the fifth on a two-run single by D'Alessio a two-run error and an RBI for Ladusau, who was hit by a pitch with the bases full.

Ladusau added an RBI double in the eighth.
