Wildcats Headed to Corpus for Tournament

ABILENE – Abilene Christian competes in the H.E.B. Tournament of Champions this weekend at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center in Corpus Christi.
Also in the field are Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Alcorn State, DePaul, Louisiana-Lafayette, New Mexico State, Oral Roberts and UT-Arlington.
The Wildcats are 6-4 this season after winning five of their last six matches.
Freshman Merse Deli leads the team with a 6-1 singles record this spring and Daniel Morozov is 12-6, including tournaments, this season.
Merse Deli and Mihaly Deli are 4-0 this spring as doubles partners and Dario Kmet and Morozov are 3-1.
TAMU-CC is 6-2 this season with four wins against Prairie View A&M. Alcorn State is 1-5, DePaul is 3-3, Lafayette is 3-6, NMSU is 4-3, Oral Roberts is 0-3 and UTA is 3-3.
The Wildcats return home Sunday for a home date with Baylor at 3 p.m.
