FOR KICKS: Abilene Christian's
Kyle Ramsey collected United Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Ramsey converted the fourth-longest field goal in ACU history when he knocked home a 55-yarder in Saturday's 45-16 win at Prairie View A&M. Ramsey, a sophomore transfer from the University of Houston, also converted all six extra-point attempts and had all seven of his kickoffs go for touchbacks.

MAVERICK ON TARGET: ACU quarterback
Maverick McIvor leads the FCS in passing efficiency with a 207.6 rating. He has thrown five touchdowns and is without an interception in his 43 passes this season. He averages 265 yards per game and has a 65 percent completion percentage. He is second in the FCS in passing yards per completion at 19.04, 11th in total passing yards and fifth in passing touchdowns.

TOP 10: Incarnate Word enters as the No. 9 team in the FCS rankings. The Wildcats last beat a Top 25 team in 2019 with a 37-31 win over Nicholls. ACU last beat a top -10 opponent in 2010, knocking off eighth-ranked Midwestern State 31-28 in a Division II contest.

NO TOUCHING: Abilene Christian leads the FCS with no sacks allowed through two games this season. The offensive line also has sprung the Wildcats running game for 5.5 yards per carry this season.

CATCHING ON: Blayne Taylor ranks third in the FCS with 105.5 yards receiving per game. His 211 yards come on just seven receptions this season, giving a 30-yard-per-catch average. He is fifth in the FCS in that category.

WE GOT THIS: Abilene Christian is converting on third down at a 52.4 percent clip. That is the 10th-best mark among FCS teams this season.

BEHIND THE STICKS: The Wildcats are sixth in the FCS with 18 tackles for loss in their two games this season. ACU also is sixth with eight sacks this season.
Elijah Moffett leads the team with four tackles for loss and
Dorian Plumley has 1.5 sacks. Nine different Wildcats have had at least an assist on a sack and a dozen ACU defenders have been a part of a tackle for loss.

Scouting the Cardinals
After opening with a 28-14 loss at UTEP, Incarnate Word is 1-1 with a 42-7 win at Northern Colorado. This will be the third of three consecutive road games to open the season for UIW.

Tre Siggers leads UIW with 100 rushing yards and averages 5.9 yards per carry. He has two of the Cardinals' four rushing touchdowns this season.

Zach Calzada has been consistent at quarterback with 41 completions in 63 attempts. He has four touchdowns and two picks and averages 250 yards per game.

While Brandon Porter leads the team with 13 receptions, Caleb Chapman has been the big-play receiver for the Cardinals. Chapman, on eight receptions, leads the team with 188 yards, two touchdowns and 23.5 yards per reception.
