ABILENE – Abilene Christian announced the resignation of head volleyball coach Alisa Blair, who is leaving ACU to take an assistant coach position at Texas Tech.
ACU has begun the search for the next coach for the program.
"We wish Alisa nothing but the best in her new opportunity," said Zack Lassiter, ACU vice president for athletics. "Our focus now turns to finding the next leader of our volleyball program at ACU. With the newly renovated Moody Coliseum and volleyball locker room complete, we believe we have the best volleyball facilities in the WAC. I believe this is a highly attractive opportunity for a coach looking to help our student-athletes grow in their faith, reach their potential in the classroom and compete for championships."
Blair joined the staff in January 2022 after four years as an assistant at Stephen F. Austin. The Wildcats were 7-19 in her only season with the Wildcats.
