ABILENE – Abilene Christian put the finishing touch on the regular season with a 6-1 win over New Mexico State on Sunday.

Â
The defending WAC champions will play their first match at noon on Friday, April 28, at the Arlington Tennis Center.
Â
"It was an important win just to finish with everyone feeling like they are competing and we had to take it like preparation for the conference tournament," said ACU Head Coach Juan Nunez. "It was good to see the guys compete hard and not be complacent. I feel good about where we're headed; getting ready for the conference tournament and hopefully a repeat."
