FORT WORTH – Garrett Williams had a double and a single but Abilene Christian absorbed a 7-0 loss at TCU Tuesday night.
Williams had two of the three Wildcat hits with Jake Skaggs adding a pinch-hit single.
Seven ACU pitchers surrendered seven runs (six earned) while collecting five strikeouts and working around an uncharacteristic four Wildcat errors.
Luke Krkovski was assigned the pitching loss. Drake Boggan and Blake Anderson each pitched two scoreless innings with Boggan picking up a pair of strikeouts.
The Cats (16-5) return to Western Athletic Conference action with a three-game, three-day home set with Sacramento State, beginning with a 6:05 contest on Friday at Crutcher Scott Field.
TCU improved to 11-9.
