ABILENE – Abilene Christian rolls into Corpus Christi this weekend for four matches over two days at the H-E-B Tournament of Champions.

The Wildcats open with Radford on Friday at noon and then play again at 6 p.m. against Oral Roberts or Texas-San Antonio.

The Cats are 6-3 on the season after a loss at Texas Tech on Sunday.

Cesar Barranquero and
Savan Chhabra enter with matching 6-3 singles records to lead ACU. Barranquero and
Dario Kmet have rolled off a 6-0 record in first doubles and Chhabra and
Ethan Scribner have fashioned a 6-3 mark as the one tandem to play together in all nine matches.

Radford enters the tournament at 1-3 after ending a three-match slide with a win last week against UNC-Greensboro. Dennis Taramonlis leads the Highlanders with wins in singles and doubles.

Oral Roberts comes in at 3-5 this weekend after getting back-to-back 5-2 wins over Lindenwood and Saint Louis. UTSA stands at 2-4 after beating UT-Arlington and falling to SMU last weekend.

On the other half of the bracket are Louisiana Lafayette (4-3), New Mexico State (1-6), DePaul (5-5) and host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5-1).
