
'Cats outshoot NM State Sunday, Foster gets four saves

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Senior Natalie Jones tallied three shot attempts, Lily Foster recorded four saves, but the ACU soccer team fell 1-0 at NM State on Sunday afternoon. The Aggies scored in the 28th minute for the lone goal of the game, as ACU (4-5-3, 0-3-2 WAC) returns home before hitting the road for two more in two weeks.
"We didn't get the result today," said head coach Casey Wilson. "However, we played a great game, and I am not someone who blows sunshine on things. You can't always read the stat line and get an accurate assessment of the game. The chances have were there throughout the game. This team has a lot of fight and will be ready to turn the page and keep competing going forward."

- 28' | Megan Ormson scored in the 28th minute to make it a 1-0 game. It was the lone goal scored Sunday.
