ABILENE - Those hoping to catch the Abilene Christian men's tennis team in action, Saturday will be their last opportunity to do so before the Wildcats embark on a two-month road trip, which runs from Feb. 16 to their Senior Day home finale vs. Southwest on April 15.
ACU's upcoming round of opponents are New Mexico State and UT Permian Basin. The Wildcats will face the Lobos at 9 a.m., break for lunch and then battle the Falcons at 1 p.m.
ACU frequently faces opposition from New Mexico State each fall at its Las Cruces-based tournament, but this is only their third dual meeting since 2009. N.M. State leads the all-time series 2-0 with their last dual taking place in 2014, a 6-1 win for the Aggies.
The Wildcats are 4-0 in their series vs. the Falcons, a former DII rival. ACU won their last meeting 6-1 back in April of 2015.
