ABILENE – Abilene Christian improved to 13-3 and extended its season-long winning streak to eight matches Sunday behind a doubleheader sweep in Arkansas vs. Pine Bluff and Harding. The Wildcats began their day with a 7-0 win over the Golden Lions followed by a 5-2 decision vs. Bisons, which are receiving votes in the ITA's D2 top-25 poll.

Senior No. 1 Josh Sheehy – ranked No. 100 in the latest ITA poll – won both his matches at the top line today in pushing in his individual win streak to seven. He dispatched Pine Bluff's Kameron Myers, 6-1, 6-0, in their morning match and later conquered HU's Alejandro Sendra, 6-2, 7-5.

Two other Wildcats went 2-0 in singles action. Junior Nikolas Moceanu returned to action from an injury to win two matches at No. 3, and redshirt junior Sebastian Langdon – playing his first contests in close to a month – scored straight-set victories at the No. 4 (UAPB) and No. 5 (HU) positions.

Overall, eight Wildcats combined to go 11-1 (.917) in singles while four doubles combinations posted a 3-2 record (.600). Jackson Fine and Cole Lawson were ACU's lone double winners with triumphs at the No. 1 and 2 lines. Freshmen Riley Tran and Michael Benavides also were winners against Pine Bluff's No. 2 line tandem.

ACU returns to action Wednesday with a Tallahassee doubleheader vs. Florida A&M and No. 37 Florida State.
