Wildcats in Irving for Spring Break Tournament

ABILENE – The Wildcats start Spring Break at the 2018 ORU/SFA Spring Break Challenge in Irving Monday through Wednesday. ACU looks to continue on the momentum they built at the HBU-Colin Montgomerie Invitational after taking first place as a team.
Wildcat Lineup: The Wildcats will go with a lineup consisting of junior Garrett Glanton, sophomore Bryce Dooley and a trio of freshmen in Alex Clouse, Daniel Seibert and Chase Allison.
The Course: The TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas course is a par-71, 6,791-yard course.
Format: The 54-hole tournament will be played over three days, 18-holes each day with Monday and Tuesday teeing off at 8:30 a.m. at Hole 1 and Wednesday is slated to begin at 8 a.m. in double tee format at Hole 1 and 10.
The Field: ACU will see competition from: CSU-Fullerton, Illinois State, Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Rice, Texas State, Utah State, Utah Valley and Western Illinois and Southland foes: Central Arkansas, Southeastern Louisiana, and Stephen F. Austin.

Review of Last Year: Last season, the Wildcats finished 16th going 47-over-par 899 after rounds of 295-299-305, and Garrett Glanton finished tied for 97th at 21-over-par 234.
