SAN ANTONIO - Abilene Christian men's golf continues its run of three tournaments in three weeks at the Military City Collegiate presented by USAA at TPC San Antonio's Canyons Course on Monday and Tuesday. The No. 158 Wildcats join a 12-team field featuring six programs from the state of Texas, including host UTSA.
Teams will play two rounds on the first day of action before a final round to close out the event on Tuesday. Both days will feature an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
ACU will travel with a lineup of Thomas Buisson, Tres Hill, Jack Hollingsed, Grégoire Hoyeau and Colin Leonard. Preston DeFriend will compete as an individual.
The Wildcats look to build upon a 12th-place showing at the Hal Williams Collegiate in Mobile, Ala. on Feb. 16-17. Hollingsed reported the best score of his career at an even-par 210, pacing ACU in a tie for 28th, his top placement of the season.
ACU last competed at TPC San Antonio on the Oaks Course in the 2020-21 season, when the course hosted the Cabo Collegiate. The Oaks Course stages the Valero Texas Open, a PGA Tour stop, each April.
The Wildcats will represent the Lone Star State alongside No. 129 UT Rio Grande Valley, No. 165 UTSA, No. 178 Lamar, No. 219 UT Arlington and No. 239 Incarnate Word. No. 32 Texas A&M will have individuals competing in the event as well.
No. 145 Western Kentucky, No. 163 Middle Tennessee, No. 180 Louisiana-Monroe, No. 213 DePaul, No. 214 High Point and No. 233 Central Michigan round out the field.

Buisson tied for 32nd in Mobile, his first tournament of the season to not feature a top-25 placement. He shot 1-over 211, the second-best performance on the team, and tied for third on par 3s at 2-under. Buisson has shot 1-over or better in each tournament this year. In three fall tournaments, Leonard's top outing came at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic, where he placed 46th with two rounds at or below par. DeFriend tied for 72nd at the same event at Westwood Golf Club in Houston. He shot 1-under 71 in the first round of the Everett Buick GMC Classic.
