Emma Heckendorn enters her first season in 2021 as a graduate assistant coach. Heckendorn was a former All-Big 12 player for TCU, graduated in 2017, and is a native of Flower Mound, Texas.

Heckendorn was a member of the 2017 Big 12 All-Tournament Team and a 2017 First Team Academic All-Big 12 as a senior. As a junior in 2016, she was named Third Team NSCAA All-Central Region, First Team All-Big 12, and First Team Academic All-Big 12. Her sophomore year she was named Second Team All-Big 12 and First Team Academic All-Big 12. And as a freshman, Heckendorn was named to the Big 12 Academic All-Rookie Team.

Heckendorn graduated from TCU with a bachelor of science degree in psychology, and is pursuing her master of science in counseling psychology from ACU. Her career goal is to become a sport psychologist. Heckendorn currently resides in Abilene.
