Amanda Farrell will provide frontcourt depth in her first season on the basketball floor after one of the greatest four-year volleyball careers in ACU history. ACU Volleyball (2002-05): As a senior, Farrell was a second team all-America performer, according to the American Volleyball Coaches' Association. She led the Wildcats to a 31-4 record and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Southwest Region championship match. Farrell led ACU to back-to-back Lone Star Conference titles (2004-05), two straight LSC South Division crowns (2004-05), two straight appearances in the regional tournament (2004-05), and a four-year record of 102-37, including 59-12 the last two seasons. Farrell - the two-time LSC South Division MVP - finished her career with 1,544 kills, which is third in ACU history. She also finished second on the school's all-time blocks list with 500 total blocks. Farrell was a three-time first team all-LSC South Division performer, and she was a two-time first team all-region selection. High school: Farrell was a two-sport standout in volleyball and basketball at Hallsville HS. As a volleyball player, Farrell led her team in kills (218) and blocks (74) as a senior. She was named first team all-district and first team all-East Texas as a senior. As a basketball player, Farrell was named all-district and all-East Texas. Personal: Married to former ACU all-America defensive end Clayton Farrell. 2002 graduate of Hallsville High School. Born 06 May 1984.
