Before ACU: Tristan had a terrific two-year stint at Southwest Christian in Fort Worth after spending his
first 2 years of HS in Burleson. As a senior, he won the TAPPS 5A 400 and anchored the Southwest
Christan team for a 1 st place finish at the state meet as well. That year, Tristan also won the Captains
award and the Southwest Christian HS Athlete of the Year. He was ranked #38 in the state of Texas
among all HS 400 runners. In his junior year, he won both the TAPPS 5A 200 and 400, as well as running
on the 3 rd place 4x400 relay at the state meet. That year, he ranked #32 among all HS 400 runners in the
state of Texas. Tristan would finish his career at Southwest Christian winning 4 gold medals at the TAPPS
state meet and as the school-record holder in both the 200 and 400.
Personal: Tristan graduated from Southwest Christian School in 2024, receiving the
Academic All-State Award that same school year. His parents are Tiffany and Justin Cloud and he has two
sisters, Laykin and Mia. He is a psychology major at ACU.
Why did you choose ACU? "To grow into a wonderful disciple of the Savior."
