2012-13 (freshman):  Indoors in first collegiate competition for ACU had bests of 7.73 in 55 hurdles, 8.27 in 60 hurdles, 23.12 in 200 and 53.28 in 400.  Placed 5th in LSC 55 hurdles and 4th in LSC triple jump (45’11.75”) (14.01) for league title team.  Outdoors had bests of 14.66 (3.9) in 110 hurdles at Oliver Jackson Classic, 55.86 in 400 hurdles at Texas Tech, 20’7.25” (6.28) (2.2) in long jump at LSC and 45’10.5” (13.98) (3.9) in triple jump at ACU.  Placed 3rd in LSC hurdles in 14.80 (3.3) for third-place team.

High School:  Competed in football and track and field.  State qualifier in 110 hurdles and triple jump with top finishes of third in hurdles in 2011 and fourth in triple jump in 2012.  Top marks include 14.09 and 38.38 in hurdles and 46’2.25” in triple jump.  Two-time district champ in triple jump and twice district runner-up in 110 hurdles.  Ran 14.52 as soph, 14.09 as junior and 14.67 as senior in 110 hurdles.  In triple jump had marks of 43’11.5” as soph, 46’2.25” as junior and 45’10.75” as senior.  Also regular member of 4x400 relay team with district, regional and state titles with best of 3:13.80 in 2011 as junior to win Class 4A state championship.

Personal:  Born 14 July 1994.  2012 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School.  His mother is former ACU national champion Mazel Thomas, who won long jump, triple jump and high jump titles in Lone Star Conference and high jump and long jump titles in NCAA Division II. She is ACU women’s only NCAA Division I champion with 1987 high jump title (6’2.25”).
