Michael Rasor

Michael Rasor ('12) serves as the director of athletic facilities and event operations for ACU Athletics, overseeing home ACU athletic contests and NCAA, conference, and high school postseason events.

Rasor coordinates facility schedules and maintenance needs. He also serves as the ACU's UIL regional spring meet director.

Rasor’s main game operations roles include ACU football, women’s soccer, men’s basketball, softball, and cross country and track & field. Facility responsibilities include Wildcat Stadium, Elmer Gray Stadium, Byron Nelson Clubhouse, Zoe Cross Country Park, and Poly Wells Field.

Rasor took over transitioned to administration in 2024 after a successful 10-year coaching stint with ACU's track and field program. He primarily coached the hurdle crew and also worked with sprints and mid-distance. Rasor’s athletes were responsible for multiple school records, all-time program top-10 marks, individual and team conference titles, and NCAA postseason berths during his decade of coaching.

While competing for the Wildcats, Rasor recorded two third-place finishes in the 110-meter hurdles at Lone Star Conference Championship meets and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships in 2011. Rasor later was named the LSC Scholar-Athlete for ACU during the 2011-12 school year.

He received his bachelor's degree in secondary math education from ACU in 2012, and earned a master's in sport management from Baylor in 2014.

Rasor and his wife, Melanie ('07), live in Abilene with their daughter Evelyn and two sons James and Benjamin.
