2006 (Freshman): Harp was voted the Lone Star Conference South Division Freshman of the Year after finishing the season with 27 tackles (19 solo) and one interception as a backup. He helped extend the ACU defense's early season shutout streak to eight straight quarters on Sept. 30 when he intercepted a late second-quarter pass in the end zone against
High school: Three-year letterman at Judson HS, helping lead the Rockets to a 29-10 three-season record. As a senior he was a first team Class 5A all-state selection and was first team all-district and first team all-city by the San Antonio Express-News. He was also the Express-News' choice as the city's defensive MVP after collecting 174 tackles, five interceptions, forcing a pair of fumbles and blocking three field goals. He was also the San Antonio Quarterback Club Defensive MVP after helping the Rockets finish 10-5 and as the runners-up to Euless Trinity in Class 5A Division I. He was first team all-district, first team all-city and honorable mention all state as a junior (130 tackles, five interceptions).
