High school: As a senior in 2008, Estes finished with 103 tackles, two fumble recoveries, one interception, three caused fumbles and 15 tackles for loss. He was a second team all-district performer and academic all-state selection. As a junior in 2007 he was a first team all-district player after racking up 92 tackles, five sacks and three fumble recoveries. Played for head coach Chris Ross.
