Loafman will be a backup linebacker in 2007 after spending the 2006 season as a redshirt.

High school: As a senior he was named first team all-District 4-4A and was the district's Defensive MVP. He was also an honorable mention all-state selection by both the Associated Press and the Texas Sports Writers' Association. As a junior he was second team all-district, and as a sophomore he was honorable mention all-district.
