2004-08 (Texas State): Odom was plagued by injuries during his career at Texas State, missing the 2005 and 2007 seasons because of knee injuries. As a junior in 2008 he carried the ball four times for five yards in two games.

High school: Odom gained more than 1,500 yards rushing and scored 24 touchdowns on 202 carries as a senior at Alief Elsik HS, earning unanimous first team all-district honors. He was one of eight finalists for the Houston Touchdown Club’s annual prep award, and he was selected to play in the Bayou Bowl featuring all-star teams from Texas and Louisiana.
