2005-06 (Ranger College): Two-year letterwinner at Ranger. As a sophomore in 2006 he had 30 tackles, nine pass breakups, one sack, two tackles for loss and one forced fumble.

High school: Played both wide receiver and defensive back at Crosby HS. As a senior he had 38 catches for461 yards and three touchdowns on offense and had three interceptions as a defensive back. He also lettered in track and field.
