High school: As a quarterback / running back at Ingram-Tom Moore HS, Aspra was a three-time letterwinner. As a senior in 2005, he threw for more than 2,400 yards and ran for more than 1,500 yards and was the total offense leader in the San Antonio area. He was the team captain, first team all-district performer and all-Hill Country MVP. He also lettered in track and field, baseball and basketball.
