2007-08 (Bakersfield College): As a sophomore at Bakersfield College in 2008, Williams was voted first team all-Northern Conference in the National Division of the Southern California Football Association. In nine games he recorded 35 tackles (20 solo), two interceptions and five pass breakups.

High school: As a senior at Hallsville HS, Williams was an honorable mention Class 4A all-state selection by the Associated Press Sports Editors, and was an honorable mention all-East Texas pick by Smoaky.com.
