First team all-district, county and area, and all-state honorable mention as a senior strong safety. First team all-district at specialist and wide receiver as a junior. Also made the first team all-county and second team all-area in 2011. Member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: Son of Dan and Gracy Hodges. Uncle, Sam Carpenter, played baseball at ACU and is a member of the ACU Sports Hall of Fame. 2013 graduate of Smithson Valley. Born 26 April 1994.
