Abilene Christian quarterback Tucker Parks and cornerback Jacoby Davis each earned a United Athletic Conference weekly award, as announced by the league Monday morning, for their performances in last Saturday's 59-0 shellacking of West Georgia.
Parks was named the UAC Offensive Player of the Week, while Davis collected the UAC Defensive Player of the Week honor.
A week after setting a new career-high in passing yards, Parks broke it again with 272 yards through the air and three touchdowns. He added 28 yards on the ground and another score. His four total TD are a new career-best.
Davis, a transfer from Kansas who is originally from Houston, made his mark all over the field with six tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and his first career interception. On an overthrown deep pass, Davis tipped the ball to himself and snagged the pick which set up ACU's first of eight touchdowns.
The two weekly conference awards bump ACU's team total to six in 2026. Parks was previously the UAC Offensive Player of the Week for a near-perfect passing night (16/17, 155 yards) against West Florida where he scored three TD.
