Junior college: Two-time honorable mention Southwestern Junior College Football Conference selection. High school: Two-time first team Class 4A all-state selection at Harker Heights HS, he led his team to a 12-2 record as a senior in 2002. Three-time first team all-District 17-4A selection, Jackson was a Super CenTex selection as a senior by the Waco Tribune-Herald.
