2011 (Freshman): Redshirt.

High school: Football, powerlifting and baseball letterman for the Steers. Middle linebacker for teams that were 14-2 as state finalist in 2009 and 8-3 in 2010. As a junior he had 70 tackles and 3 QB sacks, and as a senior he had 124 tackles, 25 tackles behind LOS, 3 QB sacks, 5 pass deflections. Earned honorable mention all-state, Red River defensive Player of the Year, first team all-Abilene area, District 6-3A defensive MVP. Selected to play in FCA all-star game in Abilene. Also all-district in baseball at DH, Who’s Who among Students in American High Schools.

Personal: Born 19 April 1993. 2011 graduate of Graham High School in Graham, Texas. Father Jimmy Guinn played for Baylor’s SWC title team that lost to Alabama in 1981 Cotton Bowl. Grandfather Jim Guinn, Sr., played at University of Texas for Darrell Royal.
