2005 (Sophomore): Finished with 35 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass breakups during the season. His biggest play came late in the first half of the Wildcats' 19-3 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville on Oct. 29. With ACU's lead cut to 6-3 and the Javelinas driving with less than one minute to play in the first half,
2004 (Redshirt freshman): Had 16 tackles in 10 games (13 solo) and one interception. Had two tackles and one interception in ACU's 29-25 win over
High school: Ran for 1,800 yards and had 550 yards receiving as a senior at Bishop Lynch HS. He scored 21 rushing TDs, and had one interception as a defensive back. As a junior he recorded 50 tackles and one sack. As a sophomore he had 35 tackles defensively and 10 touchdowns offensively. He led his team to the state championship as a senior, and that year he was all-state.
