High school: Two-year starter for coach Don Clayton. First team all-District 17-5A for 11-2 team as a senior in 2008. Had 30 “pancake” blocks for season and recovered fumble in end zone for touchdown vs. Mayde Creek. Team won district title with 27-21 overtime victory over defending state champ Katy.

Personal: Born 26 Feb 1991. 2009 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas. Grandfather Victor Swenholt played baseball and football at University of Missouri.
