Campbell enters the 2007 season listed as the Wildcats' backup running back. Campbell will likely reprise his role as the Wildcats' short-yardage back and receiving threat coming out of the backfield. 2006 (Junior): Campbell rushed for a team season-best 163 yards on 11 carries in ACU's 45-20 win at Northeastern State on Oct. 7, one of two 100-yard days on the season by Campbell. His other 100-yard game came the next week in ACU's 35-7 win over Angelo State when he had 107 yards and two scores on just 12 carries. Campbell finished the season with 654 yards and nine touchdowns on just 110 carries, earning second team all-Lone Star Conference South Division honors. He also proved to be a solid receiving threat out of the backfield, finishing with 17 catches for 176 yards. 2004-05(Cisco JC): As a sophomore, Campbell ran for 1,212 yards and 16 touchdowns on 215 carries and caught 34 passes for 344 yards and two TDs. In Cisco's 47-28 win over Dodge City (Kan.) Community College in the CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl, Campbell had 132 yards and three touchdowns on the ground and five catches for 68 yards and a score receiving. A first team all-conference selection, Campbell finished 12th in the nation in rushing as a sophomore. High school: Ran for 2,219 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior in 2002, helping the Judson Rockets finish the season 14-1 and win the Class 5A Division I state championship. The Rockets won the state title with an improbable 33-32 win over Midland High when they scored on an 76-yard touchdown pass on the final play of the game. Campbell had three rushing TDs in the Rockets' state championship game victory. Rated the 71st best prospect in the state by texas.scout.com. As a sophomore at Judson in 2001, he rushed for 1,647 yards and scored 22 touchdowns on only 214 carries.
