High School: All-district athlete who played end on offense and defense. Had 6 catches for 108 yards as a senior with 3 touchdowns. Recorded 15 tackles at defensive end during senior season and 30 tackles and 2 sacks as a junior. Was a district champion in the discus throw and three-time regional qualifier. Was also a two-year letter winner.
