The athletics training staff at Abilene Christian University works from five separate training rooms.
The main training room is located inside the Teague Special Events Center and is a 2,400-square-foot. facility. The offices of both the head athletic trainer and the assistant athletic trainer are located inside. Along with that, this training room boasts two in-ground whirlpools, state of the art modalities, and a room dedicated entirely to rehabilitation of our athletes.
The training staff also works out of three satellite training rooms. One is located in the Gilbreth-Scott Teamroom at Crutcher Scott Field, where baseball players are treated, with another in Moody Coliseum that treats the volleyball and both men's and women's basketball teams. Another satellite training room is at Elmer Gray Stadium and serves the student-athletes on the track and field teams.
The newest facility is in the Softball / Soccer Complex, which opened in May 2009 and serves the softball and soccer teams. Each training room is staffed by licensed trainers and also provide state-of-the-art equipment to facilitate better treatments for ACU student-athletes.
