Listed as a backup cornerback going into the 2009 season.  Transferred to ACU from Pasadena City College prior to the 2008 season.

2008 (Junior):  Played in 11 games for the Wildcats, finishing with 26 tackles (18 solo), including 1.5 tackles for loss (minus-7 yards in losses).  Had a career-high 10 tackles (seven solo) in the Wildcats’ 93-68 win over West Texas A&M in the second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs on Nov. 22 at Shotwell Stadium.  2006-07 (Pasadena City College):  Played in 15 games over two seasons at Pasadena City, finishing with 44 tackles (32 solo) and eight pass breakups. 

High school:  Three-year letterwinner at the prep level.  As a senior he finished with 80 tackles and five pass breakups on defense, and was a solid return man, finishing with 300 yards in kickoff returns and 150 yards in punt returns.  He was a first team all-league and second team all-area selection as a senior.
