Honea Rises Into Top 10 at “Mo” Morial Invitational

BRYAN, Texas - Abilene Christian women's golf's Ryann Honea rose into a tie for eighth place following two rounds at the "Mo" Morial Invitational at Traditions Club on Tuesday. The Wildcats were one of four teams to tie for ninth place at 43-over 619, powered by Honea's 5-over 149.
Wednesday's third and final round will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Honea scored 2-over 74 in the second round with a pair of birdies to rise four spots on the leaderboard. She shot an even-par 36 on the front nine to end her day. Honea is tied for fifth on par-5 holes at 2-under.
Jiyu Han matched Honea with a 2-over 74 on Tuesday, good for a 13-spot jump to tie for 29th at 9-over 153. Han is drawn for fourth on par 3s at even par. She notched a couple of birdies.
Maddi Kamas is tied for 53rd at 1-over 159, followed by Julia Vollmer in a draw for 58th at 16-over 160. Kate Pickrell is in 79th at 25-over 169.
