ACU Releases 2026-27 Schedule Featuring Pair of Home Tournaments

ABILENE - Abilene Christian women's golf will host a pair of home tournaments while competing in five states and the Dominican Republic as part of its 2026-27 schedule released this week. The Wildcats tout one of the strongest strength of schedules in the nation as they make their debut in the United Athletic Conference.
ACU will compete in tournaments in Indiana, Tennessee, Florida and Arizona while traveling internationally to Punta Cana. Seven events are hosted by power conference programs. The Wildcats' schedule features an estimated average event WAGR power of 531, a top-30 mark nationwide and the best at the mid-major level.
ACU's schedule features five tournaments in Texas, including the inaugural Abilene Christian Intercollegiate in Granbury. The Wildcat women's and men's golf programs will compete at Halbert National on Oct. 19-21 live on the Golf Channel. For the third year in a row, ACU also hosts the West Texas Intercollegiate at Abilene Country Club's South Course on March 1-2, 2027.
The Wildcats return to four tournaments they've competed in across each of the past two seasons. ACU registered four top-three placements last year, including a title at the West Texas Classic and second place at the Western Athletic Conference Championship.
For the third consecutive season, the Wildcats will kick off their campaign at the Boilermaker Classic on Aug. 31 to Sept. 1 in West Lafayette, Ind. Purdue hosts the tournament at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex's Kampen-Cosler Course. Jiyu Han, Kate Pickrell and Julia Vollmer have competed at the event in each of the past two years.
ACU returns to another familiar locale at the Red Raider Invitational on Sept. 22-23. Texas Tech hosts at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, where the Wildcats have competed in each of the program's three seasons. They mounted their best performance at the event last year, tying for third place. Vollmer tied for ninth place, while Han and Jasmine Do landed within the top 25.
ACU then heads to Knoxville, Tenn. for the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate on Oct. 4-6. Reigning SEC champion Tennessee stages the tournament at Cherokee Country Club.
The Wildcats wrap up the fall slate at the Abilene Christian Intercollegiate on Oct. 19-21. The event features a collective 14 power conference teams to form two of the strongest fields in the nation. Halbert National opened in 2025 under the ownership of ACU alum David Halbert ('78), a medical biotech entrepreneur and founder of Caris Life Sciences.
ACU kicks off the spring in paradise at the Purdue Tropical Classic in Punta Cana from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2, 2027. The Wildcats tee off at Cocotal Golf & Country Club. They previously competed internationally in 2024 at the White Sands Invitational at Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
ACU returns stateside on Feb. 14-16, 2027 for the Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, Fla. Louisville hosts the tournament at Suntree Country Club.

The Wildcats wrap up the regular season on April 5-6, 2027 with their third straight trip to Texas A&M's "Mo" Morial Invitational. ACU tees off at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.
The inaugural UAC Championship is set for April 23-25, 2027 at 1876 Country Club in Celina, Texas. The Wildcats placed second at each conference championship in the program's first three seasons.
NCAA Regionals are set for May 10-12, while the NCAA Championship returns to Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. from May 21-26. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team from each of the six regionals will advance to the NCAA Championship.
