Six Wildcats Tabbed WGCA All-American Scholars

FRISCO, Texas - Six Abilene Christian women's golfers were named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association, the organization announced Monday. Jasmine Do, Jiyu Han, Ryann Honea, Maddi Kamas, Kate Pickrell and Julia Vollmer were each recognized for their accomplishments on the course and in the classroom.
To land on the All-American Scholar Team, student-athletes must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and play in at least 50% of their team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds.
Across the nation, 1,551 golfers received the honor, with Honea and Pickrell each recognized for the third year in a row. Vollmer made the team for the second consecutive season. ACU tied for the most recipients in the Western Athletic Conference.
The Wildcats' number of All-American Scholars has grown each season, with four honorees in 2024 and five in 2025. Do, Han, Honea, Kamas and Pickrell were each tabbed Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators, while each member of the roster was named Academic All-WAC.
Do is pursuing her degree in kinesiology with a 3.58 GPA. She logged a pair of top-30 performances, including a 24th-place finish at the WAC Championship. Do landed in 24th at the Red Raider Invitational.
Han is studying health sciences with a 3.61 GPA. She was tabbed to the All-WAC Second Team with three top-25 efforts, headlined by an 18th-place showing at the West Texas Classic. Han opened her junior campaign with a tie for 19th at Texas Tech's Red Raider Invitational and closed the year in a draw for 23rd at the WAC Championship.
Honea capped a remarkable career at ACU while working toward her Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, touting a 4.0 GPA. The All-WAC First Team honoree landed outside the top 15 just once in 11 tournaments and earned her third straight individual bid to an NCAA Regional. Honea logged seven top-six performances and was twice named the Jersey Mike's A Sub Above WAC Women's Golfer of the Week.
The San Angelo, Texas native won The Lady Clerico, part of a trio of top-three efforts. Honea tied for fifth at the WAC Championship and 15th at the NCAA Waco Regional. She is a two-time WGCA All-American Scholar.
Kamas began her postgraduate studies toward a Master's in business administration with a 4.0 GPA. She registered four top-10 performances in her first season with the Wildcats, including a runner-up showing at the WAC Championship. She tied for third at the Coach Mo Classic and was named the WAC Women's Golfer of the Week.
Pickrell is pursuing a Bachelor's in finance and holds a 3.82 GPA. She capped her junior season on a high note with a draw for fifth place at the WAC Championship. Pickrell also tied for 19th at the West Texas Classic and 21st at The Lady Clerico.
Vollmer, a sophomore, is majoring in communications with a 3.77 GPA. She produced a trio of top-15 placements, including a tie for third at The Lady Clerico as an individual. Vollmer followed with a tie for ninth at the Red Raider Invitational and came in 15th at the West Texas Classic.
