ACU Announces Change in 2025 Slate

ABILENE, Texas - ACU Athletics announced an update to its 2025 football schedule on Tuesday, which will impact its non-conference slate for the upcoming season. The Wildcats will now host Stephen F. Austin in week two and travel to TCU in week three.
After beginning the season at Tulsa on Aug. 30, ACU will play its home opener against the Lumberjacks on Sept. 6 at Wildcat Stadium, a game originally scheduled for Sept. 13.
The Wildcats will head to Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth on Sept. 13 to square off against the Horned Frogs. That TCU game was originally scheduled to be played on Sept. 6. This will be the first meeting between the Wildcats and the Horned Frogs since ACU moved to Division I in 2013.
The Wildcats are coming from their first Division I conference championship and FCS playoff win. ACU finished the season with a 9-5 overall record and a 7-1 mark in UAC play. It shut out No. 17 Northern Arizona, 24-0, to advance to the second round of the FCS playoffs.
ACU is now accepting season ticket deposits for the 2025 season. Fans can lock in their seats for the five-game home slate online at tickets.acusports.com, or by contacting the ticket office at (325) 674-2287.
