Thomas Buisson powered the Wildcats with a career-best placement and score, tying for 15th place at 6-under 210.
ACU shot 7-over 871, matching Sam Houston after logging a 2-over 290 on the final day of action. USC and Rice shared the team title at 32-under 832, while Houston's Hudson Weibel topped the individual leaderboard at 15-under 201 before clinching the crown in a playoff.
Buisson shot under par in each round of the tournament, saving his best for last with a 3-under 69 on Tuesday, matching his career best. He recorded five birdies to give him 15 total to pace the Wildcats. Buisson shot 2-under on par-4 holes to tie for eighth and 7-under on par 5s to tie for ninth.
Tres Hill rose four spots on the final day to tie for 31st place at 1-under 215 in his best showing of the season. He collected four birdies in his 1-under 71 third round and tied for second in the field with 38 pars.
Jack Hollingsed slotted into a tie for 50th place at 5-over 221 after carding a 4-over 76 in the final round. He shot on par on his final eight holes.
Colin Leonard jumped three spots to 81st place at 12-over 228 after notching his best round at 2-over 74. He collected four birdies. Grégoire Hoyeau followed in a tie for 82nd at 13-over 229 with a 5-over 77 on Tuesday.
Preston Cooper, competing as an individual in his first outing of the season, rose four spots to draw for 31st place at 1-under 215. He shot 1-under 71 in the final round with five birdies.
ACU continues its fall slate at the Everett Buick GMC Classic at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock, Ark. on Oct. 13-14.
