Cats Finish Season in CIT Quarterfinals

STEPHENVILLE – Abilene Christian ended its men's basketball season on Wednesday with an 86-59 loss to Tarleton State in the CIT quarterfinals.
The Wildcats trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half and couldn't get enough second-half defensive stops to threaten the hosts.
Leonardo Bettiol led the Wildcats with 14 points and eight rebounds while Nasir DeGruy posted his second consecutive double-figure scoring game of the season with 11. Cameron Steele had seven points and six rebounds.
The Cats finished the season at 16-18.
