ACU Takes Doubles Point at No. 14 Texas A&M

ABILENE – Abilene Christian grabbed the doubles point with two wins in a 6-1 loss at No 14 Texas A&M on Tuesday.

Benjamin McDonald and Ethan Scribner knocked off Lathan Skrobareck and Kenner Taylor at No. 2 doubles, 6-3.

Mihaly Deli and Merse Deli won, 6-4, at No. 3 doubles to clinch the point. They defeated JC Roddick and Ethan Silva.

Dario Kmet and Daniel Morozov were trailing Luke Casper and Tiago Pires 5-4 when the match was suspended.

In singles, Dario Kmet pushed 109th-ranked JC Roddick to three sets before falling, 6-3, 4-6, 10-7.

Morozov and McDonald were able to claim six games in losses at Nos. 1 and 5 singles, respectively. Mihaly Deli and Merse Deli each had four wins in their Nos. 3 and 4 singles matches.
