RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Airion Simmons produced a double-double but Abilene Christian fell at California Baptist 68-53 on Saturday.
Simmons had 17 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season and his first since he went for 11 and 11 in a season-opening win at Oklahoma State.
Leonardo Bettiol scored 15 points and Hunter Jack Madden put up 13.
The Wildcats had one three-pointer on the night and got zero points off the bench.
ACU returns to Texas to play at Tarleton State on Thursday at 7 p.m.
