Williams Signs with Women's Golf

ABILENE - The Abilene Christian University Women's Golf Team announced on Thursday the signing of Sydney Williams, a transfer from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith.
Williams, a native of Frisco, comes to ACU as the 90th-ranked player in Division II. While at UAFS Williams was named to the CSC All-District Team and won the 2022 Nick Turner Invitational. Sydney also had five other top-five finishes in her two years playing for the Lions.
"I am thrilled to welcome Sydney to our team!" said Head Women's Golf Coach Rob Bennett. "While other players may plateau when they get to college, Sydney has continued to improve over the past two years and I think she has more in the tank. She is going to bring some more veteran leadership to our team, and I can't wait to get things going!"
