Kmet Repeats as Player of the Week

ABILENE, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference, for the second consecutive week, has selected Abilene Christian's Dario Kmet as its Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week.
Kmet, a junior from Sydney, Australia, went 2-0 in WAC No. 1 singles matches with wins over UT Arlington's Anton Shepp (6-3, 3-6, 6-1) and UTRGV's Emilien Burnel (6-3, 6-2).
With one WAC match remaining, Kmet is 4-0 against the league's top players.
Kmet had early struggles with injury but has found a different gear for the conference matches.
"Dario has a lot of drive and focus and he knows how important the conference matches are," said ACU Head Coach Juan Nunez. "I'm incredibly proud of him because he leads exactly how you expect him to lead. We're getting the effort and determination from him that we know he is capable of giving."
